Cities run on infrastructure that is largely invisible until it fails. Street lights go dark, roads degrade, environmental conditions shift and the people responsible for managing these systems often find out too late, through complaints or incidents rather than data.
Wicked Smart City exists to change that. We build mobile sensing platforms that drive through city streets and capture the ground-truth data that infrastructure managers need to act proactively.
Prototype Stage. Real-World Testing.
We are currently developing and field-testing our first platform: a vehicle-mounted street light inspection system. The prototype drives a street corridor and captures photometric data on every fixture it passes logging lux levels, flagging anomalies, and generating geo-tagged inspection reports.
This is hands-on, real-world work. We are not building in a lab, we are on the streets, validating our sensing methodology against actual city infrastructure and refining the platform based on what we find.
